We should just skip the back and forth train rides and treat ourselves to a real rock star weekend of sleeping wherever we happen to pass out. Because you know real rock stars don't sleep.

One of my friends here on lj says he's voting McCain if Obama doesn't pick Hillary as VP. Rather than starting an embittered, heart racing comment fight in his journal by calling him a dumbass, I'll just complain about him here.

MTV says Obama will introduce Kanye. I'll vote for McCain if Obama doesn't introduce Wilco.

Kanye!? That is bullshit...he's only announcing Kanye because for whatever reason Mr. Kanye "Bush-hates-black-people" West is more mainstream. I still love Obama and will still make a point to see him this weekend, but my love has dissipated ever so slightly - maybe his speech at the festival will open the door to my heart, one can only hope. It's official though? Where did you see that? I should be happy that Obama will be there at all...but Kanye over Wilco??? BAD FORM.

Sleeping like rock stars sounds worse to me than a diet of only crumpets. Although maybe we can find those gay boys with the fabulous apartment and crash there, they can serve us breakfast with their fancy coffee maker.
