Oh my gosh, I just read that one of my favorite authors, Bebe Moore Campbell, died. Apparently she had brain cancer. She wrote a book called Brothers and Sisters that I've read and re-read probably 3 or 4 times, it's a novel about race relations that takes place in Los Angeles in the aftermath of the Rodney King riots. I am the same way except lately I can't finish anything. I tried reading the Talisman and didn't finish that and now I am trying to read Odd Thomas and that's not going well either.

We have about 3000 books in our home library (let's not talk about how much fun it is moving them) and sometimes I sit there and swear there's nothing to read. Like you, half of them haven't been read yet, but I just have to be in the mood.

It's like looking in a full fridge and declaring there's nothing to eat, or looking at a closet of clothes and insisting you have nothing to wear.

Perhaps it's a female thing... ;>
