New York!

So as some of you know, I'm going on a 6 week trip to America in Nov. So I've been searching for a New York hotel for 7 nights and they pricing at like 1,300 and thats pounds, not dollars!!! Please help me my American friends they all cant be that dear!!!! :(

There are hostels near the theater district. I stayed at one near 8th and 39th (I think) and there is one close to Times Sq. Google CHEAP hotels in NYC and go to yelp.com. Don't give up!

Ok so I know I've been complaining about dear hotels, but the thought of staying in a hostel freaks me out! I like having my own room with a bathroom attached! But I'll check out the yelp.com see if they come up with anything cheaper :) xxx
