The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it.
- Twin Peaks. I still haven't seen the second season. ;_; When they first showed it, I was too young to watch it (though I did, secretly, my parents thought I was already sleeping). And after that they haven't shown the second season at all, only the first one. 'Til last spring. And I didn't have a TV at that time!
The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets.
- Yami no Matsuei. My favourite series to just pick up a volume or two to read while traveling.
The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized he really was fucking crazy.
- Lost. Watched the first season. Felt more or less decieved as a viewer since they never explained anything, just raised more and more questions. And after talking to people who still watch it (I believe the third season started here this Fall) they still say nothing has been solved. Three seasons of questions concerning one bloody island... I could start watching it again when they start answering, god dammit!
The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved he doesn't actually live in town.
- Gackt, hide, etc (includes all my J-Rock & J-Pop) I love the music, but the fans scare me to death. So I try to just keep on listening to good music and leave the worshipping to others. Even though I'm interested in the artists behind the music, all the communities and fanpages just make me feel more or less paranoid... or to be more specific: old, not color-blind, not interested in fanfics with crazy pairings, not interested in RPing as jrockers and not having any fetishes with androgynous men with asian features.
The steady.
- Madonna. There's just too many good songs for all kinds of moods.
The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with.
- Tim Burton movies. Also including mr Johnny Depp here, since he usually stars in them. They both are geniouses in their own work as a director and an actor, but still I've never become a true fan for either one. *shrugs* And I've never thought J.D. handsome. :x
The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't.
- Chobits. Lovely story, extremely beautiful, but... I would've wanted it to be even darker towards the end. I think CLAMP kinda rushed it to get the story finished.
The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool guy except it's never really gone anywhere.
- One Piece. Maybe I just haven't watched/read it enough... *shrugs* It's funny and a nice story and I like the art but... something just didn't click in my head to get me hooked.
The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at him and thinking, "him? how the hell did he land all these cool babes?"
- Gravitation. Just WTF. It's not that good a story. The manga is ugly. And still... I did shag him too... *BIG sweatdrop* I was just too young and didn't know of anything better... (Yeah, right!)
The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly.
- Magic Knight Rayearth. It's the one Anime series we watch with a friend, and I know it'll completely break her heart when she finds out the true story behind Cephiro. ;_;
The one who gave you the best damned summer of your life and who you measure all other potential partners against.
- Fame. The original movie. Not the Musical. Not the TV-series. Especially not the 90s version of the TV-series. But the movie from the year I was born, 1980. Do I need to say more? If you don't know it, then get your hands on it and watch it! After that all art-school-movies (*cough*save the last dance*cough*) have been cheap copies.
