It's been quite a two weeks! First ten days in Lapua, a very small town in Western Finland, and then three days in Berlin. I fell in love with the city... <3
Here's what you see through a hole in the Berlin Wall. Or what's left of the installment anyway. Actually, you really can't tell anymore on which side of the wall you are. And people there speak damn good English!! I was shocked. In the end I could have survived the whole trip without speaking any German.
The transportation in the city is pure bliss. Almost like in Helsinki with better subway connections. On the first day I walked around but then I started using the public transportation, and visited several malls and even some tourist attractions (though I'm not too fond of seeing a bunch of old buildings, ruins and monuments). The people are really kind and good looking. Especially the men. :D
Here's a picture of Wicked with mr Bertolt Brecht (a German play writer). He was near a store "Dussmann", which is this huuuuge book, cd, dvd and note sheet shop in four levels. Bought many musical soundtracks, a Jaques Brell notebook and some music for the gospel choir in Lahti. (You don't find good Gospel notebooks anywhere in Finland.) Too bad the anime titels there didn't have english subtitles, otherwise I would've bought some of those too, since they have many many more titles published there (*cough*Princess Princess*cough*FAKE*cough*). Also, as I went through the musical DVDs, I have to say I own most of the stuff already!
And I bought a pair of wicked jeans. <3
Well, after a successful two weeks of pure white nose, I emptied a bottle of white wine with the company of close friends yesterday. Now, I'll start working. But my heart wants to go back to Middle Europe. <3
