DYING. DYING. DEAD.

KC is silently seizing on the living room floor right now, wordlessly mouthing "JUSTIN BIEBER!"

I'm with him. It's a mothergrabbing miracle I didn't drive the car off the road at that point.

Hey, that is some good associative reasoning skill -- "Is that sucking dick?" He's applying theory to lived experience.

I'm also kind of fascinated by kids who know the terminology out of context. I remember learning the word "homosexual" some time around fifth grade, but nobody ever said "gay" back then. "Gay" was still a proud in-group term in the 1970s. Proving that anything can be turned into an insult by the right people. It reminded me of when I was teaching a bunch of ten-year-olds the Witch Doctor song as a fun nonsense sing-along. One of them asked what witch doctor was, and I said it was a slang word for a shaman. She was non-plussed, and thought it was silly not to just call him a shaman, though she was still having fun with the culturally insensitive "ooh-ee, ooh-ah-ah, bing, bang, walla-walla bing-bang."

Crash is probably a bit immature to be reading Scareteen himself, but I bet it would be a good place for you to look for resources.
