OH MY GOSH!! You poor thing!!!! I would be so freakin' frustrated beyond belief!!! I'm sure it's fixable, but I'm not one to ask what to do. o_o Umm... my friend Ray might know... but you'd have to give him a msg on myspace. He's computer savvy like that. Or you could just accept my knowing how you feel... whichever you choose. Miss you lots though. -_-

Right-click and Save - wininet.dll for XP Pro SP2. Dump it in your \..\system32\ directory, from whence it came.

My advice...

Get a second hard drive, copy everything you need from the dirst to the second, format the first, reinstall Windows and then transfer everything from HD2 to HD1

Replace it using toxixo's dll, then start using firefox (http://getfirefox.com) for browsing instead of internet explorer. It is faster, and is much more secure (so you should be able to keep from getting another virus)

Or just break down and switch to Linux. http://shipit.ubuntu.com will send you a free CD which will replace Windoze and make you practically invulnerable.
