This lovely idea helped me tremendously the last time it made the rounds, and I hope it will help others.

I don't have a lot of cash, but I can bake, I can sew, I can be a friendly voice on the internets and other things of that nature.

So ask. What do you need?

This kind of thing is what I'd been hoping furshelpfurs.org would turn into. It hasn't taken off, though.

There's not much I can think of that I need, except lots of hugs. I've been wondering if I should post to see if anyone has a car I could buy, as mine seems to be on its last legs. But I've been waffling about that. What I'd really like is to see a steady stream of stuff I can do for other people.

How can we get more people working together?

Be the example, I think. Keep responding and offering the support you can without hurting yourself, Let people know what they can do to help you, even if it is just hugs.
