So, as some of you who read me know, I am a rainbow person, and a knitter/spinning/anythingwithfiberreally person.

There was recently, on Ravelry (fiber related social network) a rainbow related controversy, that is slowly and painfully being resolved, in a good growth and eventually positive way.

As a thank you for other rainbow supporters, I ( Read more... )

That is so damned awesome :) Yay but whoa. I don't think it is going to suck. Heck, if it is sitting at #1 and you haven't any negative feedback I think you're good. <3

I hope so because over a thousand people have redeemed the free offer.

SCARY!

Also, we will be in SJ at Further Confusion from Wednesday next (the 15th) through to the following Tuesday. We should hook up so I can show off my wheel!

Man, I always miss the fun stuff. I don't really hang out on Rav forums/groups, which probably explains that.

Your socks are adorable. I knit a fair number of socks. Would it help if I made a pair and promised to be blunt about pattern feedback??

btw, I keep your hat next to my chair in the living room and have worn it almost every day since November. It's my favorite!

It would really help, I want to keep growing and learning, so critique is helpful.

OK, I have to knock out 3 baby sweaters by March, so it will be a bit. If I forget, remind me, either here or on Rav?

I'm working on feeling like it is impetus to keep chugging along and knit up the samples for the patterns I have, and realize that updates happen to everyone, because we cant be perfect.

It was honestly terrifying to have passed over the top of a Big Name and stay over him for nearly two days. ALthough, since mine was free, might have been a little more that.

I can't wait to see what people end up doing with the pattern though! It's the first time I've had something move smoothly from idea to pattern to test knit to putting it for sale.

Here's hoping I can keep up the creative burst!

Yes! The most important thing of all in the course that helped me put YWU together, the thing that made it all worth the money, was where it said, "Stop waiting for it to be perfect. Get SOMETHING online, and then you can tweak it to your heart's content." That was a big aha moment for me.
