Friday, I had a really good, but very active day. I spun for longer than I probably should have and knit for a while after that while hanging out with my wyfe. I went to bed a little tired, a little achy, but not too bad. By 1 am, I felt a bit queasy, but not bad enough to worry and I fell asleep ( Read more... )

Damn! Good to hear you're ok and OUT of the hospital. My view is the goal's to get out of their ASAP as every day you're in you need to make a saving throw vs. death. It's easy, but over time the odds pile up.

Rest and take care.

I hadn't thought of pickles, but Ardyn bought Boudin sourdough bread and good cheese for us before all this came up. Kimchee and buttermilk though...ugh.

The Doc suggested getting high content yogurt and a probiotic supplement as a combination

I'm glad to be down too, although Im going to make sure Im moving around in a lot of small doses since I dont have heprin here.

Like I said though, barring that one pair of PTs, the staff was great, and the transport guy and the ER nurse who moved me up to the room were hysterically funny. At one point I warned them I would be flashing them because the gown didn't fit and the nurse cracked "What, trying to get us all excited?" and I whipped back ith "Honey, Im an old, fat dyke, y'all ain't going to be getting *that* excited." This made my rather staid first night nurse blush an made them crack up through the whole weighing and transferring to the bed process.
