this was a question on my calculus exam. word for word. what the hell was i supposed to do?
show that f is continuous on the interval [1,7] and f(x)does not equal 5 for every x in [1,7] and f(2)=3 then f(x) is less than 5 for every x in [1,7]. cite appropriate theorems used.
