So I brushed Boo with the ShedEnder comb after a 3 month brushing hiatus. I normally try to do it once a month since it seems to really keep her shedding down quite a bit, but the last few months have been crazy and I couldn't seem to remember. Wow looks like she may have started to loose her winter coat on top of hair that did not shed properly. That is a crazy amount of fur.

actually I get about 1/3 of that amount when I brush her every month...and the comb that I use really does the job. I supposed it stands to reason that I would get 3X the amount since I waited 3 X as long to brush her. For people who have cats that shed like crazy, I'd definitely recommend routine brushing with a good shed-reducing comb...it cuts down on shedding a lot. If I brush her once a month with that comb, she sheds relatively little for a kitty. :)

K. I have owned a few cats that are supper shedders and even with regular brushing I would not get that much. But then again I might. We tend to groom kitties once a week do to allergies in our family.

If I use a regular slicker brush (the needle ish kind) I don't get much fur at all...only with this Shed Ender thing. Dunno whether that's good or bad, but means I have relatively little fur on my furniture.
