I'm 32, I own several houses, I am not any different than I was when I was 24 except I got beat down hard a couple of times... I know a little bit more, I am faster at situations... but age does not change people...

There's an old saying that 10 years from now you're no different except for the people you've met, the books you've read, and the things you've done...

that said I have to go kick a computer, meet a male prostitute, and read a TRS-80 instruction manual

What...you mean that when I turn 25 I won't magically feel stable and together and settled?

DAMMIT! I was really holding out for that. Next April is going to blow. The disappointment will rain down...

I thought I was 17 for a really long time too--I'm pretty sure until just last spring. I felt older after the big Lucas break-up. Now, I guess I'll feel 24 until something else really emotionally upsetting happens to me. (hopefully never.)
