I am all better! No more type A influenza for me! I beat that sucker down >:D And despite the fact that one of my schools decided to have me eat lunch every day for a week straight with the first years who were almost ALL infected with type B influenza (one class had 16 out of 38 kids absent and of course I'm eating off the absent flu kids' desk, ( Read more... )

You guys are crazy going out in the cold like that! o_o And YIKES @ photo paparazzi. o_o

I can't even look at a *picture* of that spider without freaking out. o_o But the red waves are awesome! At first I thought it was another secret dolphin slaughtering place, but then they wouldn't be letting you surf there. XD;;

Also, I am so jealous of your arms. D:

We are a little insane. >.> To be fair, it started out that the air was cold, but the water was warm. By the time the water got cold too, we were already committed D:

Yeah, photo paparazzi? Not my favorite thing ever. Dani was way more tollerant than I could ever be D: She actually posed for them :o Giant spider, also not my favorite thing. There was a bigger one in another bathroom, but that was on the wall, in late spring when bugs are allowed to be alive, and it ran away, so it can be forgiven. This one, not forgiven. :P

What about dolphin killing? Where they doing that somewhere around here? I totally missed that D: eeeeep. SAVE THE DOLPHINS! and yeah, this was definately lil plants, not actual blood, thank goodness.

My arms are pasty white and covered in red plants like chickenpox! Sexy, lol. Why the jealousy? Your arms are graceful dancing arms!

There was a big thing in the (U.S.) news about it a while back . . . I forgot the name of the town but I think it was in southern Honshuu. They were slaughtering dolphins and selling the meat as food even though it was insanely high in mercury. And it was even in the kyuushoku. And they would chase anyone curious out of town. Eventually some gaijin put together a team of olympic divers to secretly make a documentary on the whole thing.

My arms are flabby!

This has got to be the most Awesome Post EVER. I hope you don't mind, but I read the spider part aloud to my parents and showed them the pictures, OMG!! Plus I'm all mad at you now, because I clicked on that link and am now scarred for life. *shiver* As for the ass comment... if you butt was *half* the size of one of my cheeks, I would die a happy girl. So stop complaining! *noogies*

Be careful of that red junk, hun! I don't mean to sound all bossy, but I remember reading about that stuff... and you never know what's in it. Those photos are truly amazing, though. I showed the top ones to my dad, and he says it's the spitting image of Kaneohe Bay.

I Miss You. PLEASE STAY HEALTHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HIIIII :D I don't mind at all! I'm flattered you thought it interesting enough to share ^______^

Those spiders really are intense. They're big and fast and eeeew. But they're actually not bad! so don't fear them :D Just check the toilets before you pee >.>

Do you remember what the red stuff was called? It was already washing away in the afternoon, so I doubt I'll be swiming in it again, but it would be nice to read something about it and figure out if I should be in the water when it's around. It was kinda weird, but other people were swimming too, and I was hoping they were more informed that me XD

I MISS YOU TOO! Yay for Rachels in my pocket!

You are too adorable/funny. And one of the most interesting people I know! :):) I'm just not as adventurous as you honey, I can't stand insects the size of my fingernail, let alone my *PALM*. **COLD SHIVERS**

Did you see any dead fishies (I'm sure no, or else you wouldn't have gone in, right :-P)? If so, then it could have been this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_tide . Which is what I was thinking of. But now that I read the article, the organisms are supposed to be microscopic, so you wouldn't see them in your wetsuits. Plus you'd probably see *ALOT* of dead stuff- so I'm undoubtedly mistaken! *facepalm* But to me my oceans are supposed to be *BLUE*, lol.

I'm glad you got a kick out of my text! :) xoxoxo *missyoulikewoahbutthenyouknewthat*

But *maybe* it is a form of red algae:

(Look at the third to fourth picture down)

What do you think? Does it look familiar, or no?

So I came back on here and .. I never posted a comment?!?!? No, I say nothing to you but go to Joe and tell him all the cool things I saw on your livejournal. Oy.

Anyway,
SO AWESOME! You are seriously and honestly my hero for many many reasons, but those reasons now include freezing/red surfing, and peeing on big ass f-ing spiders
