Rethinking this new "smoky eye' makeup look I tried out today. Coworker just asked if I was ok b/c my eyes looked a little droopy. :(

Are you using eyeliner with the smokey eyes? Try winging it up and out at the very edge, extending slightly past the lashline. That helps open up the eye and keep the heavy shadow from appearing to drag your eyes down.

Also, if you're lining under the eye, in addition to on top, only line the outer half - from the center of the iris out. Lining the whole eye, especially with an Asian eye, will tend to close it up and make you look a little droopy.

I normally just line the outer half to open up my eyes. Today I tried something new. Clearly it did not work the way I'd planned.
