i'm still procrastinating
i guess i don't wanna do my homework. i work well under pressure though. i thought i would do a survey thing(taken from heather). so here it is....
The 2004 survey!!!
001. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? participated in a prank war, i will turn 18(2 weeks from today!), became a senior, went to band camp for the last time, got married ;), got a job, and relied less on my parents.
002. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i didn't really make any last year because i knew i would break them. possibly next year i'll try to have a better outlook on life. i'll be a more positive person.
003. Did anyone close to you give birth? um, i don't think so
004. Did anyone close to you die? nope
005. What countries did you visit? none
006. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? more self-esteem and confidence.
007. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory? january 1st- staying up til 6am with tj, sarah, and laura; may 15th- prom(it wasn't the greatest night though); may 29th- first day of work; july 4th- watching fire works at dover peds with jake, laura, liz, and jenny, then going to hilton park in the dark; september 18th- rochester fair with jenny, laura, and tj; december 23rd- my 18th b-day. not much else happened this year.
008. What was your biggest achievement of the year? making it into nhs, even though it is so overrated
009. What was your biggest failure? scoring sorta low(for my standards) on the first sat's.
010. Did you suffer illness or injury? just a cold here and there, and maybe some bruises from colorguard
011. What was the best thing you bought? um clothes and presents for my family and friends
012. Whose behaviour merited celebration? hmm...my good friends of course
013. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? a couple of friends, george w. bush, the little gangsters at our school
014. Where did most of your money go? new clothes, lunches, snacks while on break, and iced lattes.
015. What did you get really, really, really excited about? meeting kimberely locke, meeting tyler hilton(still getting excited), john kerry coming to our school, marching band season(which turned out to be a bust), and band camp(which also sucked).
016. What song/album will always remind you of 2004? "In My life", or something like that, by the beatles

018. What do you wish you'd done more of? meeting new people and just acting like myself
019. What do you wish you'd done less of? arguing with parental units and procrastinating
020. How will you be spending Christmas? at home with the family, possibly eating at step-grandparents house

023. How many one night stands in this last year? hahaha none, that reminds me of something jenny
024. What was your favourite TV programme? what is with this spelling? gilmore girls of course! one tree hill and sex and the city are close too.
025. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? i don't really hate people, i definitely get annoyed with how people treat me though.
026. What was the best book you read? the poisonwood bible by barbara kingsolver
027. What was your greatest musical discovery? umm... i happen to like some emo stuff, which i never thought i would like.
028. What did you want and get? a job and to get into nhs
029. What did you want and not get? a solo in my last season of marching band(but that's behind me now), more free time to spend with friends, and a new puppy.
030. What was your favourite film of this year? "bridget jones's diary"(the second one) was pretty good. i also like "the prince and me." "serendipity" was good too! i don't really have a favorite though.
031. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? haven't had my birthday yet this year. i'll go to school and then probably be working on my b-day, and i'll be 18.
032. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? john kerry winning the election
033. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? comfortable and a little more stylish(maybe?) than past years.
034. What kept you sane? not much. probably my summer vacation
035. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? that's a toughie. i think orlando bloom is incredible hott with somewhat short curly hair, and jared padelecki(sp?) is also hott!
036. What political issue stirred you the most? the election
037. Who did you miss? heather, emmy, liz m., laura w., dorothy, lisa, jen c., melissa c., trevor s., jake, shanekiah, jim, and all the other people that graduated last year. katrina, taylor, laura, becky, and hannah cause they were cool too.
038. Who was the best new person you met? danielle, alanah, and kristen are all cool kids.
039. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004. don't let what other's think control your life. it's not worth stressing over because you probably won't even see the people that aren't close to you after high school.
