It's their incessant vilification of liberals. They're playing a game of rhetoric, turning liberal from a neutral statement of ideology into a bad word. It's something conservatives in general have been doing for years and I cannot stand to see something so brutally corrupt and childish coming out and splattering itself across mainstream America.
