So I stumbled into my room after working a 14 hour day at both jobs, and I find a brand new bed and brand new art desk. Basically, a whole new bedroom ( Read more... )

TMI PARAGRAPH
Coming from someone who's been on three different forms of 'the pill' and being considerably depressed (at one point to almost doing something really stupid) and useless art wise, I'm not at all surprised that the medication was a big part of it. I don't know about you, but on the medication, my whole thought process would change (and this still happens when the hormones are the highest in my normal cycle, which I use as an indicator of where I am for menstruation).
END TMI PARAGRAPH

This Klik-Klak thing looks cool, (from pictures I've seen) it's like having a sofa and a bed in your room which I think is pretty awesome. :]

EDIT: Fail at basic tags lol

I appreciate the TMI. I was actually on the ring which I was told would influence my hormones less because it was a steady stream of hormones as opposed to varying doses. It turns out, that was even WORSE on my body, and is a pretty common problem after doing research :/ The steady dose, when your body doesn't normally produce such doses that high on a regular basis, can really imbalance more than just your mood.

And totally agreed on the whole thought process changing. I literally could not enjoy anything, not even my favorite movies/books/games. Hell there were some new Ripper specials on and I didn't give two shits.. I just slept. And everything got to me, I could help but take everything the wrong way.

I'm just so glad to know it isn't just me. I know I'm a moody bitch anyway, and two job stress isn't helping, but like you said my entire perception was just off the wall.

The whole idea of messing with the bodies hormones I think is unnatural enough, and some people just can't physically handle the change, either because the influx/loss is too great or the change in the 'natural order of things' or however it works in the brain fucks up everything. Considering it's not just one hormone but like a clusterfuck of all these different ones that work all together in balance ( ... )

This news makes me very, very happy.
Commends to Mox. You may not believe it, but you deserve this. I think so, and Mox definitely thinks it as well.

Excellent, excellent to hear. Odd as it sounds, this has kind of made my night. I'm very happy for you. Glad to hear that Good Things have come about during this holiday season.

Good to hear the hormonal issue is being addressed too. Yeah, those brain chemicals are crazy stuff.

Hope your holidays continue to be uplifting!
