I'd like to thank this week's Limited Time Magic offering for getting the lyrics for the title of the entry stuck in my head. It's "True Love" week at Walt Disney World. I'll be going back to Disney University for Concierge training for three days starting on Valentine's Day. Sorry that it's been so long since I have updated. Training took a lot of time, and I ended up working 8 days in a row. Needless to say, I was ready for this day off! I had my first day of training at the Polynesian yesterday. It was a short shift, and it still wasn't at the Front Desk. I shadowed Bell Services, it appeared to be a pretty slow day at the resort so I didn't really do much, but I did feel generally more comfortable. Today was my property orientation at the Polynesian appropriately named "Aloha Day". Basically, any time you are new to a property they arrange a walking tour and such to get you acquainted with your new home. It was nice to do a resort orientation as opposed to the parks, which was my last orientation, because you have much less space to cover ( Read more... )
