The music department just unapproved my creative thesis application. As in I am no longer writing a creative thesis.

Things are not going the way you wanted them to, for the moment, at Harvard. And, eventually, you will be okay.
That's not to sound unsympathetic to your problems. Also I know you, and I know you will find a way to create and publicize the work you want to do, departments/professors be damned. Just be happy your life is kicking so much ass to begin with- even if it doesn't feel like it is.
