I love the ambiguity in the rhetorical question from The Sound of Music that asks: "how do you solve a problem like Maria?"

The way I like to see it, Maria herself is the problem. Always cutting up your curtains to make hideous, socially unacceptable clothing, and whisking you away into the Alps with lame, earworm music and a bunch of nuns. Hell,

Hot diggity damn, I am ahead of my time! I'm not nearly culturally sophisticated enough to enjoy the Liberty University Holiday Choir or whatever that extravagant show was, so I'll just say they ganked the idea from me.

But this raises a whole host of other disturbing questions, probably best not answered. Why, oh Lord why, is a conservative Christian university employing an obvious lesbian, not to mention a lecherous one, to conduct their choir? And why, oh Lord why, are they singing about... bed intruders?

Thank you for opening my eyes. Skinning them, rather. This will keep me up at night.
