Smell really is something. Today I picked up a children's book about different tails, and some were fuzzy and some were shiny and some were spiky... and one was a scratch&sniff and I scratched&sniffed it and it smelled like skunk and I went "Phooey!" Gaah, mean author! Anyway, that really has nothing to do with your story, which was a lot more touching.

But also, on a more serious note, I'm really sorry about your pastor's wife. Even if you didn't know someone so well... well, I understand.
