Erm. It's -5 C here - why-in-hell would TPTB remove the AC?

Well, since our office is closing down and the landlord has no interedt in paying the bosslady for the aircon she had put in and suck, the bosslady decided it's all gonna go when we do. And since tis Christmastime... The aircon folks could only take it out in the middle of the month instead of the end...
