Last night, a dream, in perfect clarity:

I am in a high-ceilinged room, entirely empty of furnishings except for a single chair I'm standing behind. There's something cold and smooth in my upraised hand. I know without looking that it's a pistol, high-quality and businesslike. I know, too, that I can use it.

It was pretty damn hardcore to be dreaming, lemme tell ya. When I woke up, I felt about a billion times more tired than when I went to sleep. :D

Is it a sign of unutterable naivete that I think an awful lot of the world's conflicts could be resolved, or at least step toward resolution, if people would take that approach? I don't think so. I hope not. It might often be the only action which has long term chances of success.

wish my gun dreams were deep like that. Last one I had I was making a suicide last stand against the police. I had my M-1 in my hands and I was walking down the drive way to the road block and someone kept yelling at me to lay down my weapon. I just closed my eyes and continued to walk forward. I wouldn't let them know how scared I was and I wouldn't let the damn feds take me alive...

Wow, that is one incredibly complicated and detailed dream! *steps back in amazement*. And that you remember it in that detail. My dreams are hazy to say the least, although the overwhelming FEELING in them often lingers.

Peace, man, peace will conquer all.
