I did it! Give this woman her rightful place in the pantheon of culinary gods; I have succesfully made an edible... dare I say it? Possibly even tasty... dessert based entirely around-- eeesh-- tofu.

And lo! It was a great day for humanity.

No, but I want to know why I didn't think of that. (There was coffee brandy involved, though, and coffee brandy assists in the edibility of many things, depending on the volume consumed, up to and including other people.)

As one of the freaks out there who actually enjoy tofu, I must say that sounds delightful.
Also, have you ever used tofu as an egg replacer in cookies? It works wonderfully, you can't taist it I promise, and you can eat the dough with impunity.
