god is going to get sick of me

Back home again, after finals, which were surprisingly unstressful, and a week in South Carolina, which was even less stressful than finals. I can't believe my 19th birthday fast approaches... where did that year go? I realize it's just sort of a random number, but it seems momentous, somehow. I'd better hurry up and get away with as much as I ( Read more... )

Apparently, however, I'm only actually any good with other people's hair. Either that, or the ends of my hair really don't want to bleach. I'm currently bleach blonde with orange-ish ends and blue streaks...it's pretty scary. I'm going purple as soon as I get back to Clarksville.

Not at all! How about you? How are you guys? Sorry I didn't have more time for you during the school year-- but I meant to tell Dennis, one of the one-acts was from Marat/Sade! I didn't get a part, but the director gave me props for already being familiar with the play.

Are you running windows vista? My new vista gave me trouble when I tried to get on my home wireless network. It sounds like you are connected to your network but you haven't set up the network key. When you first try to log on to the network it should ask you for a password or network key, this should be a really long seres of numbers and perhaps letters. If that doesn't work I don't know what to tell you, hard to do tech support when I can't see the trouble.

Hell no I'm not running Windows Vista, nor will I be for several years... in other words, until they get all the bugs worked out, all the DRM on there is sued out of existence or hacked, and all the security issues are fixed. Fuck some Windows Vista, my friend, I plan to duel-boot Linux and XP this summer.

Yeah, except my network doesn't require a pass or a key. I think it's something to do with either the wire being shot (hard to check, since it's threaded through the ceiling), or the router's security system. I can fix it, I just haven't properly tried yet.

Ah, I sometimes forget that you may be more computer literate than I. Forgive me for giving you layperson advice.
