it's been such a long week

Back at school, finally. It's funny how much I wanted to be here during the summer, and now that I am here, I barely think about it. I guess I'm just too adaptable to really be grateful. In some respects, once I return to a place or condition, I never left it at all. My classes are interesting and I am already very busy, but not unpleasantly ( Read more... )

You may be experiencing what my best friend refers to as "November" (Mine always hits earier, mind you.) A season of piercing nostalgia where you're not really sure what you want, but you're very sad and things seem very ephemeral.

Or it could be that you're in your sophomore year and you're feeling like you ought to have a handle on what, exactly, you want out of your education. :) In which case you'll be find in a few weeks/months when things settle down.

If you are having a conflict of thoughts you are not doublethinking correctly. Either both thoughts are right or both are wrong. There can be no indecisiveness among party members such as ourselves.
