Evidently I won't be going to UWM this year. I got a call from a residency specialist today telling me that because I moved back to Illinois, I didn't qualify for resident tuition. I told her that if there was no way to get in-state tuition, I wouldn't be going there. I'd be like the cost of a private school to do it. Ridiculous. So yeah. I guess I ( Read more... )

yeah, it sucks. I'm sure I'll work it out, but I'm just frustrated right now.

Yeah, it'll all work out. :) Right now I'm stuck in a second-rate in-state school (ie. Stevens Point, Wis.) so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully you don't settle. It's not a cool feeling. Good luck, guy.

Well, I've got to get some new applications in now, and see how that goes. I might *have* to settle. But to be fair, going to UWM wasn't my first choice.

I'm finally back online again. Moved into my place in Queens. No job yet...
