Update of sorts
I'm dating/going out with a terrific young lady, who happens to not be able to see. Yes, she's blind (i've learned that many blind people don't like being called visually impaired), but that doesnt' seem to slow her down at all. The girl is fearless. She says it's easy to be fearless when you can't see what could go wrong. I laugh at that, but

Have you seen Avatar? The Last Airbender? This post reminds me of Toph.
I think there's one episode where she causes a lot of trouble and there's a warrant out for her arrest, and everybody keeps forgetting she can't see, so they bring her the wanted poster of herself and ask her about it.
