Cats are officially gone. They were not happy to be put in the travel carriers. It turns out that their owners can no longer afford to keep the cats due to some outrageous rent they are paying. His fiance put her foot down and said they have to go. He is kind of upset because if he knew that they would eventually leave, he just would have found ( Read more... ) -

It's been about a month since I posted (I read everyday, though). Things have been tough with Carl traveling for work. He was gone for a week to DC, came home for 24 hours, left for Jersey and Philadelphia and will hopefully be home sometime before 1am on this coming Sunday. Got 2 truck loads of dirt delivered by my uncle today so we could fill in some low spots in the back yard. I also planted grass seed (we'll see how well that works). I started to weed the long flower bed by the fence today. I forgot how long it is. I only made it about a third of the way before by back really started to hurt. I wanted to mow ( Read more... ) -

Odin Update
Odin has a mild ear infection in his right ear. We have to start flushing the ear daily until it clears up. I also learned that Chows have notoriously small ear drums and are prone to infection. Therefore, we will have to start flushing both ears on a weekly basis for preventative maintenance. -
Weekend Update (and beyond)
LJ ate my post last night -- here are some highlights:
Saturday:- Carl's mom came up and we went to see Monsters vs Aliens in 3D
- We ate good food at Kaladi's
- Carl's mom and her friend are both dumping Chatfield houses and have started the townhouse search in the Twin Cities
- Took Odin to his 2nd obedience class
