So I finally finished NaNoWriMo, and three days early at that.  Well, I say *finished* - I mean I got past 50000 words - but I haven't actually finished the damned plot.  I waffled too much at the beginning when I didn't know where I was going yet.  I reckon if I write the end and cut out all the earlier waffle, the whole thing might come to around ( Read more... )

I don't know about etiquette in that situation, but my personal opinion is that as long as you don't drag me into it you have nothing to apologise to me for.

I had an incident once where someone on my friends list (who I didn't know all that well) added my little sister and was creepy at her. She wanted to tell him to get lost and block him but wasn't sure how I'd feel about that. The idea shocked me! Why should I stop her from telling someone to f-off for being creepy? Did he deserve special treatment just because he was on a list of people that I didn't mind reading my insane ramblings on a social network site? I think not!!
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that you should treat them as you would anyone, regardless of who they may know, and don't worry about it.

Also, congrats on finishing nanowrimo! It doesn't matter that the plot isn't done, that's not what the challenge is about!
