I'm not liking Valentine's day. Not a bit. It's too forced, commercial and sweet for my tastes. Romance to me was all about bribes. Of course the personality plays key to all this. When your married to a perfectionist with Class A tendencies nothing is good enough. All my past thoughtful gifts misses or not have been wiped away like

Hell, I only wish we were able to have sex on the floor! :D I'd probably break a hip or at the very least wouldn't be able to get off the floor for a few hours. LOL

I'm not sure the amount of sex has too much to do with romance, honestly. Maybe because I'm female. It just seems that even though Dan and I don't actually get to have sex very often (we're talking, maybe once a month or less?) due to health issues and exhaustion from his job, we still have plenty of romance. Little, sweet things like Dan stroking my cheek out of the blue or I rub his back while he's sleeping. Touches like that. *shrugs* Maybe our dynamic is different than yours...after all, you have children together longer than we have. Anyway, I hope it goes well for you.

K never was much of the affectionate but she freely admitted it though. You probably do things like talk to him and he listens and stuff like that right? lol K and I aren't that bad but we are opposites and tend to butt heads a few times.

Yes, Dan and I tend to talk about stuff, whether it's major or minor. :D

I know you two have had your ups and downs, but you seem to acknowledge your differences, so I bet you anything you'll last. You can look at each other and know what you're dealing with. And besides, I don't think in your heart of hearts, that if you thought somewhere in the back of your brain that you wouldn't make it, you wouldn't have adopted k2.
