Figured I had this account and may as well use it. I don't think I'm going to cover every minutiae of my life with this, but I think it would be interesting to read this a couple years from now and see how things turn out.
Hehe I wrote a paragraph here like I was some goddamned journalist. I'll just go on with random shit from here instead.
It's a real old digital camera, and it's a real piece of crap.
This is my last semester here in my college town. Too bad, I was actually starting to like it:
The campus is sandwiched in between mountains, and this picture was taken from the peak my apartment building is set against. The air is real cool here, and there's a bunch of shit I'm just finding out about this place (via my bike.) What I like about it is you only have to ride a few miles in either direction and you are able to get the hell away from any kind of civilization.
Here's some pictures from up in the mountains:
and here's just some random picture of me riding through campus:
Well it is my last semester, and I could give a fuck about spending the rest of my life in front of the computer, so I'm looking to join the Marine Corps as an officer. It's actually pretty competitive now with the economy all screwed up, so I'm trying to max out my physical abilities (they require a test to even apply for becoming an officer candidate, which is scored.)
I need 100 crunches in 2 minutes, about 20 pullups, and an 18 minute 3 mile run (about 5km.) That was a perfect score I believe? Heh.
Well I can do the first easily, I can do 14 pullups, but I'm running 7 minute miles (although at high altitude and tough hills :o) So I'm just increasing my running distance (well, running time since I don't have an easy way of measuring distance, and the track is boring as hell.) I'm up to about 2 hours running at about 8 minute/mile pace I'm guessing. I think I'll start working in some fartleks or whatever to improve further, but all in all things are going pretty good.
ah i guess thats all for now realleh
