There remains only a week and a half of school left in this semester. Granted, there are 3 tests within that time period and finals after that, but winter break is beginning to seem fairly close. I'm at that age where close friends are beginning to graduate -- It'll be sad to see them go. I'm generally terrible about keeping in touch with anyone

Oh man, the same thing happened to my cell phone except I noticed later and started backtracking and I still couldn't find it D: But then a lady picked it up and went through my contacts list and called my house using it, which was awful nice of her, and I got it back. Though, she also apparently wanted me to read a religious pamphlet in return for the cell phone, but I kind of sort of automatically recycled it >_>; Still, it was very kind of her, and I'm definitely grateful.

Aww, that's nice. =) I'm imagining like an old white-haired woman who calls everyone sweetie or dear now. Probably completely wrong. =P

I never actually got to see her, since my dad was the one who drove to go meet her and get my cell phone. I kind of wish he'd told me where he was going so I could at least thank her in person, though.

Just listened to that Cosmic Mind. Um, personally? I wouldn't have used incredible to describe it, but it does make for really easy listening. It's that kinda soothing song you can have playing in the background and bob your head to unconsciously without even realizing it's playing.

Also, the melody's similar to another Japanese vocal I've heard before; I kept thinking it was my other song playing at several points. XD

Pffft, I doubt it. But I'd like to know who it was, yeah.

Yeah, it probably isn't that great. XD It's probably a bit more moving if you know a little of the backstory -- The woman's a human saint who dedicated her life to helping youkai and was sealed away in pretty much the Demon Realm by angry youkai-hating humans for centuries. The lyrics are about how much she treasures the time she had with all of her friends, sappiness, etc.

Every year or so, there's a song in particular that really resonates with me for some reason or another and any chance I get (read: when I'm alone), I burst out into song. =X Which is awkward. Last year it was, for some ridiculous reason, Butterfly, the Digimon theme song. The year before that it was Dear You and sometime in there, was the Chinese song Tong Hua.

This may or may not also have occurred with the Lion King when I saw it for the first time.
