Back from a ten day vacation to Kiawah Island, SC with Cristin's parents, Katie, and Johnny. Tired. Got used to life at a .2 pace, now it's back to a straight 1:1 pace. Work tomorrow. Ugh ugh ugh. I'll go through details later, or steal Cristin's entry on the subject if she writes a good one. Peace.

Man, I went to Kiawah Island once. My former stepdad knew somebody who had a house there and we got to stay one weekend. Everyone acted like it was this very special, exclusive place, but it seemed like every other beach I'd been to.

The beaches were clean and not horribly crowded, I'll give them that. Beyond that, I haven't really been to enough beaches to know what makes a good beach versus a bad beach. The abundant 'Palmetto Bugs' in our condo didn't make me think of an exclusive resort-type place, though.
