Well my announcement is a little late again but there is totally a new comic and it is about wolvesWhen I was a kid whenever I had to go get something out of the car at night I'd get terrified of the idea of a fairytale-style intelligent wolf hiding underneath the car waiting for the right moment to jump out at me, or lurking in the shadows in the ( Read more... )

I'm glad I'm not the only one with an irrational fear of Getting Stuff Out Of The Car. I even hated going into the shed alone (it was a scary shed!). I'm not scared of car-wolves though, I was always worried that the car would SUDDENLY SLAM THE DOORS SHUT AND LOCK ME IN. *shudders*

I was scared of going to the shed too! Our shed had one of those motion-sensor lights, but to get it to go off you had to walk half-way into the shed and then wave your arms around, which is really putting yourself in a pretty vulnerable position.

Meeting people and TV! What more could you want? peterchayward May 23 2008, 17:20:16 UTC
Hello Wiki! This is not at all related to the content of this post, but was reminded reading this that you live in Brisbane. If you're feeling sociable on Tuesday nights, then by gum, my house is the place to be!

I was reading about that just before and I think it sounds like a great idea. Tuesday is even the one day of the week where I have nothing on now classes have finished. Can I bring my boyfriend who drives me places?

Looking forward to it! peterchayward May 24 2008, 13:10:52 UTC
He is most welcome!

Oh, and if you could fill out the poll, that would be handy. If your boyfriend has a LJ, he should also fill it out. For convenience's sake!

we have coyotes where i live and you can hear them howling behind the house late at night. when i was younger, i'd always have dreams about them running up the stairs to come get me. terrifying.

like the new comic and am super jealous of the xbox!

Where I lived as a kid we had a similar thing with dingoes howling. It is pretty scary if you are already scared about something different!

There is just something a bit scary about going out to the car in the dark, I guess! I'm glad it's not just me.

I -adore- my 360. I just finished Halo 3 and there was much whimpering and annoyance on my part that the game was so terribly short.

On another note. I'll be in kingaroy from the 1st til the 8th. I also tried to ring this afternoon but it rang out. Hope you're well. And hugs to the boy for me.

Take care.

hello you!

Lately I have been meaning to call you! When is a good time to do so? I'm sorry I've been so terribly out of touch.

Having a 360 has been awesome so far. For a while I kept looking at it and marvelling at the fact that it's actually mine to keep. Do you have other games besides Halo 3? Is there an xbox equivalent of friend codes that we can swap? haha

Heh. You know? I don't know about the codes. I havn't really gotten that far with it. But I loves it. I've got a couple of games. Ryan's actually going to give me all of his and he has MANY.

As for phone times? It's always a bit wierd with the shifts I work. After 9:30 is always safe. I know it's late. But it means that if I've worked a close I'm home by then!
