I'm not familiar with that particular tale but I just wanted to say how much I adore the phrase "leisure bees". Also that you are the 4th hit when you Google "leisure bees" :-)

haha, thankyou! I was so proud of myself when I came up with leisure bees I made a totally corny comic about it.

Love it! And thank you so much for explaining the phrase - my husband will be thrilled when I finally tell him what it means. In the just the last few days it's morphed into "leisure beans" (when I told him what we were having for dinner tonight) and "leisure beads" (when I explained that a group of girls from work were taking me to a bead-making place for my going-away party).
