Well the guy at the store tried to explain it to me and it was something to do with male fish having "pointy" and female fish having "round" and it was possibly in relation to fins or something. The majority of them should be girls; I'm pretty sure Mark and Jez are female. And Su-Mi is a male for sure. The others I just don't know about. Basically I didn't let possible gender influence my fish-naming.

I'm glad you have a fishy pet. I have lotsa fish. I'm actually thinking about getting a tropical aquarium. But I understand it's so much work and I'll confess that it's a little daunting.

My fish are freshwater tropical, which seem pretty easy to manage but then it's only been a few days haha. The people I bought them from also sent me home with a bag of their tank water so I wouldn't have to worry about conditioning the fish to different water, which I think made a big difference. I have no idea how you'd keep saltwater tropical fish though.
