The actual language of the Texas "We hate fags" measure:

(a) Marriage in this state shall consist only of
the union of one man and one woman.

(b) This state or a political subdivision of this state may
not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to
marriage.That's right Texans, no one can get married now. No one! Great

I would say that there are quite a few stupid Texans. My county was the only one to vote no against it. I can't say I'm surprised, I'm sad. I know a lot of great people here but apparently it just wasn't enough to win over the bigots. I don't think its just texas though honestly...I think America as a whole is one of the most bigoted countries in the world.
