Summary: Finding himself alone in his hotel room in Shanghai for one day, Yunho is desperate to catch up with his lover after the constant filming of 'Heading to the Ground' begins to take its toll on both of their emotions...

A/N: Hey guys!! I finally did it! I was able to come up with a plot for a happy one-shot to counteract the depressing one-shot I did a few weeks ago. I found myself day-dreaming about Yunjae this morning before I got out of bed and decided I may as well make it into a cute one-shot. I hope you guys enjoy it~~ ^^

[SHANGHAI, OCTOBER 2ND, 2009...]

The fumbling of a keycard outside of the hotel door began to nibble at Yunho’s attention. The noises grew louder and the unmistakable sound of the keycard’s thin plastic sliding through the slot outside of the door registered at the back of Yunho’s mind. Accompanying it was the familiar telltale sound of a soft click as the door’s mechanism deemed the keycard worthy and unlocked itself for the outside intruder.

With a happy sigh Yunho turned his head away from the thick script he had been studying to gaze at the doorway. He already knew the identity of the intruder before the door was even carefully pushed open. There was only one person he always handed his spare keycard over to for safekeeping. It was a ritual the two of them had begun several years ago, under the unwritten rule of ‘what is mine is yours’.

It had felt a little discouraging to be constantly given hotel rooms with self-locking doors during their overseas trips, which the other did not have access to at freewill. So, to solve the inconvenience and deepen their unity, the two of them had decided to always exchange their room’s spare keycard for moments such as this.

More often than not it was always Yunho who was visited like this. It was a little embarrassing to admit, but the main reason behind it was due to several instances in the past when Yunho had struggled to unlock the door to the other’s room. Somehow he had always managed to misread the numbers assigned to each keycard and mistakenly tried in vain to open up the other’s door with his own room’s keycard. Hesitant to go through the embarrassment and non-stop teasing from the other all over again, it seemed that an unspoken understanding had occurred where the other man came to Yunho’s room instead. Yunho’s room was therefore the silently designated meeting place for such overseas activities as this.

It was always only a matter of time before the other came to find Yunho, ready to share the night with him after their tiring daytime schedule.

Yunho nodded a hello to the other as he finally slipped through the door and sashayed into the room with the elegance of a stealthy cat.

Their rooms this time in Shanghai were rather pleasant. Warm-coloured paintings clung to the walls, an array of wooden furnishings hugged the perimeter of the carpeted floor, and a decent-sized LCD television sat proudly in the centre of the room opposite the spacious double queen bed.

“Reading your drama script?” JaeJoong questioned, pocketing Yunho’s spare keycard and wandering further into the room.

“Yeh. I think I’m almost done with it,” Yunho replied, glancing at the short collection of pages that were still waiting for his scrutiny.

“That’s okay. I want to take a shower anyway.”

Yunho had already taken his shower as soon as he’d stepped into the comforting solitude of the hotel room. He’d been covered with lingering sweat from their Mirotic concert in Shanghai, as well as hairspray and make-up. Feeling the exhaustion that tugged on each of his muscles and mind-an inevitable consequence from participating in his Heading to the Ground drama-he had retired early from the after party of their successful concert, craving the feel of warm water massaging his weary limbs.

He had left JaeJoong talking animatedly with the staff, full of energy as ever. The reunification of TVXQ for their latest concert-miraculously untouched by the exhausting lawsuit against their management-had revitalized JaeJoong completely. It had been a while since Yunho had seen the man so chirpy and energetic. It hadn’t come to a surprise to Yunho at all, though. He knew his lover far too well, after all. He was always well aware of how much TVXQ meant to JaeJoong. Of course TVXQ meant a lot to every one of them, but for the eldest member it was something else entirely, engrained in his entire soul. It hurt JaeJoong like nothing else whenever the members were away for too long. It was only necessity and unbearable fatigue that had convinced JaeJoong to carry on with the preparations for the lawsuit against their management company at the risk of causing disruption to TVXQ and their activities together.

Although Yunho had craved spending some time alone with JaeJoong after the concert, he hadn’t found it in himself to tear JaeJoong away from the staff and fellow members who were making the man feel so overjoyed that night. There was just no way he could have taken that happiness away from JaeJoong just to cure his own selfish needs. No, he knew their time would come eventually. He had already waited so long, he knew he could wait a little longer.

Yunho hadn’t been able to see his lover lately, too busy filming his drama and working his way through the never-ending scripts with his fellow costars. It was a tiring schedule for Yunho - mentally, physically and of course emotionally. Mostly every day he had grown exhausted from concentrating on both his lines and the way he portrayed his character, Cha BongGoon. Long hours of the night had slowly worn away his physical strength as well as he found himself having to endlessly run around the soccer field kicking at soccer balls until he had the right combination of expression and adequate soccer kicks for the director’s satisfaction. Not to mention the times he had worn his biceps out having to carry around the two female leads in his arms for multiple scenes. However, despite the aching of his arms from filming such scenes, it was nothing compared to the sharp pang in his chest that signified the longing he felt to be holding someone else in his arms instead.

If it had been JaeJoong he was forced to hold up in his arms over and over again for the cameras, he would have gladly done so if he meant he’d be able to carry his beloved lover so close to his chest, feeling the warmth of his limbs and intimate beating of his beautiful heart.

But it wasn’t JaeJoong he’d had to carry in front of the cameras, and knowing that it could have been him was a teasing thought occasionally drawing attention to itself within his exhausted mind. The times he’d had to carry JaeJoong around in his arms for their banjun drama Dangerous Love seemed so long ago now… Sometimes Yunho found himself wishing that he could revisit those times and appreciate the opportunity to showcase his intimacy with JaeJoong if only for a fictional drama. Back then he still hadn’t completely come to terms with identifying the turbulent feelings he’d had for the eldest member, unable to recognise them as feelings of love and adoration in time to appreciate the intimacy. He’d had the chance to carry JaeJoong around for one scene and hadn’t even really treasured such a gift until now. Yunho kicked himself over it now, of course - especially now since he had to interact so intimately with his fellow costars in Heading to the Ground.

Having to fake a love and romantic interest for his costars and make it appear real certainly pushed against his emotional strength. Having to deny his love for JaeJoong and instead push it aside and ‘forget’ about it during the filming was difficult to accomplish. It had been almost impossible to manage when he had first started acting in the drama - he had only found it easier to adapt to the change of mind needed for a successful shoot after a few of the episodes had been filmed.

Even so, his love for JaeJoong was simply too hard to push aside everyday for the filming without undeniably taking a toll on him emotionally. He had so often craved for JaeJoong to be on set with him like he was used to in the past for all of TVXQ’s activities. He missed JaeJoong so much whilst filming, unable to see the petite man for long periods of time as he spend most of the day and night on location.

He knew that it was healthy to have some personal time away from the lover he saw mostly everyday of the year, in fact he had often craved some time alone with his childhood friends away from the bubbly man, yet being away from his lover for so long was something he still wasn’t quite used to. He especially craved the older man’s companionship during the times he felt exhausted on set and nearing the end of his limits. Yet, he’d had to carry on with the filming regardless, forced to act happy and energetic so as not to betray his character BongGoon. The only temporary appeasement he’d had were the quick phone calls he had made here and there to JaeJoong in his breaks.

In the past JaeJoong had always been there in person with TVXQ when they struggled, telling everyone to keep on making their way through the tight schedule, his sincere, motivational words greatly encouraging the members. Having to rely on just himself in moments of weakness was a skill Yunho’d had to relearn lately.

Yunho had without a doubt been looking forward to the Shanghai concert. Not only because he loved seeing the smiling, loyal faces of their Chinese fans, but also because he knew it was a break away from Heading to the Ground; a chance to finally spend a decent amount of time with his lover. Although it was exhausting having to practice their numerous vigorous dance routines and solo performances, just knowing that JaeJoong was somewhere nearby dancing away in sync with his own dance moves was very gratifying.

During the concert, Yunho had regrettably forced himself to focus on the loyal, screaming fans and complicated dance routines rather than his lover, unwilling to let his focus slip in case his heavy emotions gave way and propelled him towards JaeJoong. The last thing he needed was to unwillingly leave JaeJoong’s side the entire concert and as consequence reveal their secret relationship to the world. No, in his weakened state Yunho knew that he couldn’t trust himself to interact too much with JaeJoong that night.

Besides, he knew that after the concert, when everybody was finally allowed to settle down in their own private hotel room and prop up their aching limbs, he’d finally be able to be with JaeJoong and fulfill the intense yearning he’d shouldered for the previous weeks.

Smiling slightly as he watched JaeJoong disappear behind the bathroom door, he waited for the sounds of the shower turning on. Picking his script back up, he let the sounds of the water and shampoo splattering onto the bottom of the tub soothe his mind like a carefully constructed lullaby. Shaking his head to refocus, he continued to read through his lines, sinking back into the soft pillows on top of his bed.

It would only be a matter of time before JaeJoong emerged from the bathroom, his hair dripping wet and his skin nice and soft from the hot water’s massage. Yunho couldn’t wait to hold JaeJoong in his arms again and let the sweet aroma from the shower gel and shampoo delight his senses.

By the time JaeJoong slipped back through the bathroom door, Yunho had almost finished reading through the page he was on. Yes, JaeJoong had been in the shower for at least fifteen minutes and yet Yunho had only succeeded in finishing one page of the script. Yunho blamed JaeJoong for his wavering attention span - it had been much too distracting reading the script whilst the loud splashing noises permeated through the door and clouded his mind with images of naked JaeJoong. More than once he had found himself trying to block out the seductive background noises by intensifying his concentration and directing it at the pieces of paper in front of him, only to realise that he had already re-read the same paragraph four damn times.

A slight bump and rise of the mattress notified Yunho of the new presence crawling up the back of the bed. He tried not to smile as felt his lover creeping closer to him.

“Poor baby. Even having to memorise that thing in China… How’s it goin’?”

Yunho lifted his eyes from the script to gaze at his newly showered lover dressed in his usual ensemble of nightclothes - a black shirt and navy shorts, his wet hair a little fluffy from the brief scrubbing session he’d had with his white hotel towel.

“It’s going alright, actually,” he lied.

“Am I allowed to see it?” JaeJoong inquired, slumping down beside Yunho’s body and resting his wet hair against Yunho’s collarbone until the soaked strands sent patches of dampness to spread across Yunho’s t-shirt.

“No. Go away. This is top-secret material!” Yunho insisted, reaching over with his spare hand to cover up his lover’s eyes with his warm palm.

“Piss off,” JaeJoong grumbled, squirming away until he had freed himself from his lover’s substitute blindfold.

The sight of his squirming lover set off an affectionate smile on Yunho’s face. Moving the script over until JaeJoong had a good view of it as well, he gave in to his lover’s demands to view the thing that had stolen Yunho’s attention that night. The script wasn’t top-secret material of course - he just loved to tease JaeJoong whenever the opportunity arose.

“Hmm,” JaeJoong uttered slowly, resting his head further against Yunho’s shoulder as he read through the future storyline hovering nearby his nose.

As JaeJoong read slowly through his lover’s lines, Yunho bent his head down to give the top of JaeJoong’s head a little kiss, his lips tasting of fruity shampoo once he pulled away - a taste he was able to cherish for the meantime.

The sound of JaeJoong’s sudden eruption of laughter caused a deep smile to spread across Yunho’s face. He’d sure missed his lover’s laughter during the filming of his drama. The times he made some ridiculous NGs, he had even craned his neck to try and hear an echo of JaeJoong’s laughter. But the man hadn’t been there to laugh at his silly mistakes. It was a bit regretful and lonely, but it couldn’t be helped… Then again, on second thoughts, maybe JaeJoong’s absence was actually a good thing - JaeJoong was the master of teasing, after all. Sometimes Yunho could barely escape from it with his ego still intact!

“Are you kidding me?” JaeJoong’s delighted chuckles bounded throughout the empty hotel room.

“The script never lies,” Yunho chuckled back.

“Now that I can’t wait to see! But then again, I still don’t think it beats the humour of the time you had to pretend to fart over the toilet in front of Go Ara-sshi!”

“Shut up!” Yunho wailed. “You’re not supposed to remember that scene.”

“Yup, I’m definitely going to be looking out for this scene!” JaeJoong lightly tapped at the script in front of him, ignoring his lover’s embarrassment.

“I bet you can’t wait,” Yunho drawled back. “Just you wait, though, Kim. You do realise that I’m going to be gleefully paying you back for all of this once I finally get to see the rest of Heaven’s Postman.”

“Nah-ah,” JaeJoong countered with ease. “My acting will astound the masses. Many an emotion will be provoked as my amazing acting launches each and every one of the viewers into the poignant storyline.”

“Amazing acting, huh?” Yunho could feel his smirk starting to grow even larger. “What about the story you told me about the time it once took you thirteen takes to film one ten-second scene, huh?”

“Shut up! Shut uppp!” JaeJoong wailed in response, scurrying childishly beneath the bed cover out of sight, refusing to come back out.

Yunho roared with laughter and finally flung the script away from him, onto the patch of carpet beside the bed to free his hands so that he could try and tickle the deeply burrowed man that was his life mate.

“Come out, JaeJoongie,” Yunho chuckled.

“No.”

“Come on.”

“No way. Not when you’re being mean to me.”

“Joongieeeee!” Yunho pointed, trying to pull the cover back to no avail. “Jooooongieeeeee!”

A short giggle could be heard before JaeJoong’s head finally popped back out, his burrowing rampage causing the strands of his wet hair to tangle together in a huge mess. “You know, that’s what I really love the most about your participation in Heading to the Ground!” he suddenly began, completely distracted from his original stubbornness.

“What is?”

“That baby voice you always use! For years I’ve always expressed on variety shows how much I wished the public could hear that stupid voice you put on. And finally my wish has been granted! The first time I heard you call that girl ‘Ogamja’ I seriously got these little shivers of déjà vu. It reminded me so much of the ways you say my name when you are in a playful mood.”

“Ah… Joooooongie,” the younger man repeated, earning another string of reluctant giggles from his lover.

Unable to restrain himself anymore-he was only human, after all-the younger man tossed the rest of the bed cover off JaeJoong and pulled the petite man upwards until he found the perfect angle to sneak forwards and press his lips eagerly against the other man’s.

“Mm, baby,” Yunho breathed against the other’s plump lips. “Did you by any chance accidentally inhale that shampoo you were using?”

“No… Why?”

“Yes you did,” Yunho laughed, his breath heating up JaeJoong’s nose. “I can taste it in your mouth.”

JaeJoong let out a deep sigh and Yunho couldn’t help but hug him into his body with deep affection, his laughter filling the room - much to JaeJoong’s disgust.

“I love you,” Yunho whispered once his laughter had died back down. “I love you, and I’ve really been missing you lately.”

JaeJoong found himself caught in the intensity of his lover’s gaze, unable to look away from the familiar deep brown gooey eyes. “Me too,” he uttered, feeling his eyes flutter to a close once more as Yunho’s lips gently molded against his again.

He could feel Yunho’s cold fingertips brushing against the sensitive skin of his belly, still warm from the shower, and instinctually pulled back a bit. “Ah! Cold fingers!” he groaned out.

“Sorry, baby,” Yunho apologized, gently slipping the ends of JaeJoong’s nightshirt upwards with more care.

The more inches of his skin that felt the cool night air blow against it, the more JaeJoong could feel himself desperate for Yunho’s touch and attention. Yunho hadn’t been the only one feeling lonelier these days. It had driven JaeJoong crazy at times to be separated from his lover for so long, having to wonder how many times certain scenes were shot before they were deemed perfect by the director.

His brief escape to Japan with Yoochun to promote their first solo duet single together had been enough distraction and excitement to ease his thoughts away from his lovely Yunho for a while, but the more photo shoots he did with his best friend, the more the absence of the other three members were made apparent as Yoochun occasionally caught his eye and made him feel a little embarrassed.

The sudden sensation of Yunho’s warm tongue tenderly licking around his exposed navel made JaeJoong’s looming desire for intimacy shoot through the roof. It had already been a few weeks since the last time they had been able to make love to each other. Yunho’s dedication to his drama had sucked up most of his energy and their daytime practice sessions to perfect their Chinese concerts had only added to that fatigue - for JaeJoong as well.

No matter how tired they were that night though, it all seemed to go unnoticed as soon as they felt each other’s breath coating the skin of their naked bodies. They needed to make love to each other with every ounce of energy they had left. It was a mutual need so powerful they both felt it regardless of any unnecessary verbal exchange.

“I-Is this okay?” JaeJoong murmured, relishing in the feel of Yunho’s hands slipping across his bare stomach, his back plastered firmly against the bed sheets and mattress, only rising into the occasional arch as Yunho’s gentle caressing became too much for the older man.

“Of course it is…” Yunho insisted, his teeth clamped over his lover’s beautiful nipple, the small nub glowing apricot in the soft glow of the bedside lamp.

“No, I mean is it okay for you to stop memorizing your lines…?”

Yunho’s teeth slipped up the hardened nub, causing a delighted shiver of pleasure to jolt through JaeJoong’s keen body.

“Cha BongGoon already had his time, baby,” Yunho murmured, rolling JaeJoong’s remaining nipple between his thumb and forefinger, delighted by the strong reaction he got from JaeJoong’s body at the feel of his fingers playing with the sensitive nub. “Jung Yunho needs his time now.”

Oh, it was no joke. Jung Yunho really needed time to himself to fall against the warm skin of his lover’s body. This intense skinship was exactly what Yunho had been missing throughout the long hours he spent standing in front of the camera beside the two female leads. He loved being apart of Heading to the Ground, and was extremely appreciative of the experiences he got from the project, but he really couldn’t deny the hours he missed being in the presence of JaeJoong and his angelic smiles.

After this night Yunho knew he would go back to Korea and continue filming the new episodes of Heading to the Ground. He’d continue to feel that empty space in his chest when JaeJoong wasn’t around in person to cheer him on, but that loneliness would surely be reduced by the memories of their intimacy this night. Even if he only had one night for now to spend time intimately with the man he cherished most in the world, it would be enough to revitalize him for the next round of filming.

JaeJoong’s touch would still linger over his skin, his fingernails leaving small, unnoticeable half-moon markings across the tip of Yunho’s shoulder blades, his lips leaving an exquisite coating of saliva across Yunho’s lips that no costar in his drama would be able to see or taste…

JaeJoong’s groan lay muffled against the side of Yunho’s neck as the younger man finally pushed through JaeJoong’s warm ring. The condom was slick and warm, welcomed further upwards into the small cavern that Yunho called home.

They had to be quiet, one ear listening out for any possible hallway lurkers who might accidentally overhear the jolts of pleasure and sensuality coming from behind the locked door of room 502, discovering their carefully hidden love affair.

JaeJoong was barely able to stop a moan from escaping his mouth in time as Yunho grabbed a hold of his thighs, holding them gently as he spread them open even further, pushing his body into the gap until flushed skin met more flushed skin.

As Yunho passionately pushed his throbbing member into his lover’s searing hot body, he couldn’t help but be reminded of the sun. JaeJoong was so much like the sun it was uncanny. His body was scorching hot, yes; his hair a sweet glow of gold mixed with brown; his smile warming Yunho’s entire soul and reaching every hidden inch of him, the eternal rays of JaeJoong’s light warming him and comforting him despite the thickness of the looming clouds that occasionally threatened to cause havoc.

But most of all, JaeJoong always revitalized him. Just being in the presence of the older man filled his bones and muscles with newfound energy. Just like the numerous flora on earth that craved and depended on the sun’s rays for nourishment and growth, Yunho knew that through JaeJoong he was always able to feel that same joy.

JaeJoong was his sun through and through. He would always be there for him no matter what, and Yunho was always able to feel JaeJoong’s gentle rays comforting him and warming up his skin regardless of their physical distance.

As Yunho lovingly pressed against that special spot within JaeJoong’s cavern that instantly sent the older man mewling upon contact, a deep moan from JaeJoong could not be contained. It felt good for Yunho too, being completely connected to the man he adored with all of his heart. Every time he pushed his hips forward to slide deeper inside of JaeJoong’s tight, heated body the pleasurable sensation sent jolts of electricity up his whole body. It was absolutely overwhelming.

Yunho could feel JaeJoong’s sweat slipping down his warm, parted thighs, not to mention the feel of the sticky substance of JaeJoong’s precum as it coated Yunho’s fingers as they vigorously pumped the length of JaeJoong’s aching erection. It didn’t take long before the older man eagerly sampled the unique sweetness of JaeJoong’s precum with just one lick against his wet fingertips.

It felt great for Yunho being able to feel his lover’s tight body squeezing against his throbbing erection. The feel of JaeJoong like this, arching his back beneath Yunho with his thighs tucked securely in Yunho’s awaiting palms, was exactly what Yunho had been longing for, for the past week. He knew his costars were lovely people, but having to hold them all of the time during his drama filming was nothing compared to how amazing it felt to be able to hold and feel JaeJoong like this.

“B-Baby, I’m-“ Yunho gasped out, unable to even finish his sentence as he let his prolonged moan speak the rest of his warning.

Yunho could feel JaeJoong’s orgasm shooting through both of them mere seconds after his own, and it was only with great contentment and well-earned fatigue that Yunho was able to drop JaeJoong’s silky thighs and float forward until the crook of JaeJoong’s neck welcomed his forehead.

Using up the last ounce of his energy to tenderly kiss the four English words inked eternally across JaeJoong’s chest, he cherished the salty taste of his skin before letting his head properly sink into the awaiting pillow. He could feel JaeJoong’s arms sliding over the small dip of his lower back, resting over his slick skin in similar contentment.

“Thank you…”

“For what?” JaeJoong whispered in confusion.

“For restoring my energy. For helping me resist the temptation to give up on Heading to the Ground during the times I struggle with it. For always being here, cheering me on. For…loving me…”

JaeJoong’s warm fingertips slide affectionately across Yunho’s back, carefully lifting the cool bed cover over the both of them, in the process hiding the sticky mess of their lovemaking until they were ready to clean it up in the morning.

“You don’t need to thank me, Yunho. You are always helping me out as well.”

Yunho smiled in agreement, utterly content with the evidence of their unwavering love. However, he could feel his thoughts dissipating as his subconscious stealthy crept out at him and tried to bury him in dreams.

Lying in JaeJoong’s arms he felt warm; so very warm.

Because Jaejoong was his eternal sun.

“Mon Soleil…” Yunho mouthed into the pillow, too tired to even find enough strength to whisper the French words out loud as the sound of JaeJoong’s soft breathing sent him off to sleep.

~~THE END~~

A/N: How was it guys? This was just a bit of fun to make up for the depressing one-shot I wrote earlier on. Gotta love the Yunjae! Their love shall live on forever, whoo whoo! XD
