Storytime is, as they say, like a box of chocolates. Today I had a lovely group of 20 kids, a higher mom-to-nanny ratio than usual, and a lot of new faces. Which meant that I was a little more on-the-spot than usual but turned out to be okay. Good, even ( Read more... )

Aw, you're too nice. The Trapani is pretty good, though it does that thing I HATE -- when writers force a line to scan by saying "did go" or "did climb" or "did this" or "did that." But given that the audience is preschoolers, I guess I shouldn't be too harsh. Also, the animal illustrations are a lot of fun.
