War and Peace

I am at rehearsal. The actors are doing an exercise in which they are given words; war, peace, bliss, thirst, envy,etc, and the make a tableau to express that word. War and peace are common, they have done them several times. Each time, war is a place of killing and destruction, while in peace, everyone is happy. This seems wrong to me. It seems to

I always see war as sad rather than angry. It goes hand in hand with the pride and patriotism, I think. But then I am obsessed with World War One poems and the Civil War. So that's where my mindset comes from.

And peace, well too much peace and tranquility is boring. Tedium. It sounds wrong, and I'm not advocating violence, but there HAVE to be disagreements and things to keep the world interesting.
