[Does Austria know what today is? Prussia knows what today is. In fact Prussia has been stressing and fretting and losing sleep over what today is. But despite her sometimes cowardly tendencies she didn't just hide away in her room until June to avoid the situation, she put on her big girl panties- which are quite cute if she does say so herself-

[He would know what today is if today were a concept his mind could currently process in its sleepily atavistic state. In the meantime, he's wrangling himself into a robe and slippers, brushing his teeth, and slowly coming around, staring at himself in the mirror for a good while before- oh, yes, there it is. He knows what today is.

And he'd be quite prepared to go to Berlin and whisk her away- or do whatever it is she said she was planning, however obliquely- but first, breakfast. He doesn't recall asking the staff to be around today, except the usual cleaners- contrary to appearances, they're hands-off more often than not. So the increasing smell of food as he wanders down to the kitchen is a mystery. The voice, of course, is a dead giveaway as soon as he's close enough to hear, and he very quietly opens the door.]

[If she wasn't so adamant on being an AWESOME GIRLFRIEND OF AWESOME she'd let him whisk her away and perhaps even tolerate being treated like a princess, just this once. But alas. Maybe next year.

When she hears him she jumps, not expecting him so soon; the sound of his voice making today all the more real. But she turns around none the less, with the brightest smile she can manage too.]
