So Julchen and Roderich have been dating for 18 months now. It doesn't really seem like it's been that long, or maybe that's a short amount of time after all, but Julchen's changed so much in that time- for better or for worse. When they first met she had adamantly explained to him that she wasn't Gilbert, and that her relationship with Lieselotte ( Read more... )

So far, Lieselotte's little social calls with her other self have been blissfully uninterrupted by her frequently uninvited guest; many, many years of quietly studying Julchen's behaviour has given her an uncanny sense of when she might come to call, and she plans accordingly. Today, however, is a rare case of her being caught off guard- not that she's aware yet ( ... )

Heheh she knew they talked about her! Though it's probably best she doesn't know for certain, or even know the details, because she likes the illusion of plausible deniability. She may not be as prudish as she was in the past but she's still easily embarrassed when it comes to sex, especially sex she's not supposed to be having. The actual Catholics of this group have no problem whatsoever discussing every last filthy detail.

Oh no, Lottie would never have someone like that at her house for precisely that reason. That, and she doesn't want important people going to use the bathroom and finding her underwear strewn everywhere.

Lottie is just pouring herself some more tea when Julchen barges in; only an iron grip on her sense of pride (and her teapot) prevent a spill, and she whips around to stare at the intruder. Damn it all, this isn't her usual day...!

Meanwhile Roderich, after a moment of disorientation, recovers himself enough to reply. 'I might ask you the same thing. Good afternoon.'

Because the actual Catholics were never subjected to nunneries, it's like Catholic school times a thousand. Luckily her desire for fun tends to win over her nerves. Usually.

Julchen is still stumbling a bit from shock herself. This is not normal at all and just like last time she finds herself torn over how she's supposed to act; there's a distinct difference in meanness level when she's teasing Roderich to when she's teasing Lottie!

"I'm just being neighborly! So there!!"
