Ahh Thanksgiving...the quintessential American holiday:  Lets all get together and eat until we can eat no more...in celebration of the time when we first arrived on this continent and usurped all the land from the people already here.

I've been dreaming again.

May not sound like a big deal, but to me it's like a return to normality.  During my high school years there was a period where I would dream every night.  Multiple times, sometimes lucidly.  My mom used to refer to this as "being at the movies all night"...cute no?

Woo for the working woman! On Monday I went in for my first job training bit...except the girl I'm training to replace wasn't there! I still got to help out around the office, but I'm going back today for a second session. Rock on. I'll be working in the Academic Senate office...which is all kinds of cool. FINALLY! Rather than sitting at home for a week, I get out and do something :D

Spent a few days in Arcata visiting Christa & friends. A grand time was had by all I must say ^_^ It was cool because even though she still had to work, I got to keep myself busy learning my way around. I got to know the highway between Arcata and Eureka pretty well... ( Read more... )
