Okay, so I'm working out today and I pumping along on the elliptical trainer. My target heart rate of 130 was reached a while ago and is now at 145 and I'm feelin' real good ( Read more... )

Yes! Let's try it. I will now start looking for someone to either teach or co-teach a dancing, rhythm and movement workshop.

Maybe I can crib something off of Gabrielle Ross. Let's do it!

I will start a list of FG workshops now.

So far:

1.Rythm and Dance workshop (hmm, maybe with an altered states spin?):
TBA

2.The Silly Old Laws, 2: tigira

3. A ritual workshop of some variety....

4. A smelly workshop, taught by Matty

And we'll go on from here...

Oh, oh, a shamanic journeying worklshop taught by ingridsummers?

A DD workshop taught by Wisteria?

I should have responded sooner - too much on my plate right today.

Yes, I like #1 with an altered states spin. Perhaps it could complement Wisteria's DD workshop?

ingridsummers said she may be interested in presenting a shamanic journeying workshop. Wisteria's husband would be a good second presenter for this as well.

Do you need a Priest for a part in any of the rituals?

We're rolling!

I am sure that I will need a Priest to work with. That gives me another idea: we could do a ritual that includes officiants from multiple regions/groups and includes some form of the variations used by each.

That would be fun, and it would allow us each to learn new ways of doing things off of each other in a supportive, playful way. We'd have to do some blocking and practicing to get used to each other's style beforehand, and that would be a good opportunity for me to crib all your cool mov...uh, for us to learn and share each other's ways. : )

We don't do the air and fire blessing here, but I'd love to learn it. Actually---wait----Lisa and Oaktavia do it. I think it's so cool, and it brings a nice balance to the ritual. Since Braided Stream does not assign gender to the East and West officiant roles of necessity, I'd like to bring it back to our circle, where all of us could try it.

Maybe we can work on that. Even by email, since I saw it several times at FG.
