Yay! Happy Birthday to a fellow Leo! *roars at you*

This was perfect for me to read with my up-coming 27th birthday. :) Great post!

*roars back* When is your birthday?

Thanks, I try. It helped me feel a little better too. It's hard being surrounded by 18 yeard old students everyday, hard not to feel slightly wistful.

Love the icon. Just perfect symbolism. You keep living it up!

Mine is the 20th.

Thanks for the compliment on the icon, I just love it! My friend yayheaven made it. :)

Happy birthday, beautiful!! :) Hope you have a wonderful day today.

But then, there is still that youthful part of me that also delights in knowing that being an adult means I can make my own decisions.

EXACTLY; that's what keeps me going. I'll be 27 next Tuesday and I feel fine. No regrets!

*lifts glass* No regrets! That's what I like to hear.

Keep finding reasons to smile. :-)

Happy birthday! I love your perspective. I hope when I turn 26 I'll have travelled as much as you have. Being tied down would suck.

Thanks. :-) It's more of a mindset I think, being tied down. You're only as trapped was you think you are. That'll never happen to us.

How many more years of school left now?

Oh, many. This'll be my first semester of college, so four years, and then grad school, probably. I've always felt trapped by school (I have a stubborn attitue about authority), but I hope college will be different. More freedom, maybe?

Next year you can say you're 3 to 30. It kind of sounds like a prison sentence. This is my last year in my 20's. So next year we'll both have a good thing to say when people ask how old we are. =) I'll be the big 3 oh, and you'll be 3 -> 30. =)

lol. I like that, 3 to 30.

I keep hearing about how life gets so much better after your 20's. How things just make more sense. I think people just get fed up of putting up with applesauce, no time for crap.
Either way, we've only got life to look forward to.

Happy 29th! They don't make cards for that either.
