I was sleeping in my bed. My mother had woken me up to tell me that they found him. I immediately got up to brush my teeth and turn on the news to hear the full story.

Hooray, we've managed to overthrow a man who posed no threat to us and who we put into power anyways, all the while using this as a way to ignore the fact that we've yet to find the person who was behind the attacks on the World Trade Center which started our "war on terrorism".

I totally agree, although by no means am I trying to defend Saddam as a good and decent man. It's just a crazy world we live in...
