mmm so that's your source of doughnuts! Geelong would be a pain but I know ors who commute daily from Geelong. Berwick is a little better. Prolly not worth moving out any time soon cos the expenses are huge.
mid-semester break? I think you're mistaken for HPL essay writing break?
theres a girl who comes from geelong to my uni too. why would berwick be so bad? thats not very far at all, it takes me longer than it would if i lived in berwick. hooray for mid-semester breaks! how long will yours go for?
Berwick is so isolated! there's hardly any public transport near all those housing estates. We know people who live there and they say if they didn't have a car they'd be stranded cos it's like a 15 minute drive til the nearest shop. It depends where you live there I guess, but if u don't live near the station it sucks
if you live away from the station - its like living in tenant creek or woods point. I'd be interested to know how far away the nearest cop shop is too.
However, if you live near the station, you are 44km from the city (about the same distance as Belgrave), are an hour away from the city and have double tracks = not that much worse than where I'm at.
I'm such a blob. I hope you did more work than I did today! I...knitted. And I beaded. Did some vaccuuming. Pondered the floor for a while. Then slept. Was having a good ol' dream there until dad woke me up.
*sigh* Moving out and having less travel. Sitting on that train for so long makes you (in general, not you YOU) go loopy. By the time I reach Box Hill I think I'm looking at people cross-eyed.
One good thing that happened: well, it was bad to start off with, because it involved annoying school kids. In year nine. Made up their own pronunciation for Nunawading and thought it was the funniest thing in the history of very funny things. Unfortunately, now every time I go through Nunawading station I remember it and start having a fit.
But I'd been drawing and writing randomly on my notebook, as you do when you're bored and just the thought of studying brings on a head-ache, and I guess they'd seen it, because as one of the guys was getting off the train he called out, 'Bad
