Business trip is going okay. It's given me a chance to have some time alone. However, I'm not sure thats always a good thing. Seem to spend a lot of time just dwelling on stuff that is painful. Depressing! We tore into the wall downstairs and took a look at that pipe thats leaking..... Apparently its leaking from under the concrete. 'Sigh' nothing is ever easy. Its probably gonna cost me a bunch of money to get fixed and I'm sure its gonna affect my attempts at refinancing the house as it will affect the appraisal. Well, guess I will ( Read more... )

I guess on the whole today was mostly productive. Managed to get the shopping done so the kids will have food for the next week. It amazes me how much food they can eat. On the whole I had a mostly good day. Got lots of yard work done. More flowers went into the secluded garden and its looking much greener. Rick got started on the back fence so that was good. Well, on the downside, a job that I had applied for was filled and I didn't even get an interview. This kinda brought me down for the week. Ok, I just returned from a business trip to Pennsylvania of all places. I was so glad to get off that plane and breathe clear Colorado air. Honestly, how do people live over there? It was 90 degrees most of the week with as much humidity. It completely drained me! Otherwise, trip was successful. Client was pleased, we got a lot of work done. ( Read more... )
